Chaat and Chat event with OH!
November 6, 2009

Friend and author of "Crazy for Kanji" Eve Kushner is holding an event on December 5. If you're in the Berkeley area, check it out! Sounds very fun and intriguing. It also underscores the idea that writers are increasingly on their own in marketing their books. Unfortunately I can't be there in person, but Eve is generously giving OH! some of the event time and space. More info:

Event: Chaat and Chats with Authors and Artists
Start Time: Saturday, December 5 at 11:30am
End Time: Saturday, December 5 at 4:00pm
Where: Taste of the Himalayas, 1700 Shattuck Ave. at Virginia, Berkeley, California

I placed "Crazy for Kanji" on my wish list and wish I could be on the left coast for the event but will let friends in SF and Berkeley know about it. Sorry to have missed your tour on the East Coast, but to the future. Reliving "the fourth treasure" with great pleasure and expecting "mono no aware" from my "kids" for X-mas. You are more than my green cup of tea.

Thanks so much Rona! Great to hear from you, and hope our paths cross in the near future.
