Book events
April 25, 2012 I spent the weekend at the LA Times Festival of Books. One estimate was about 100,000 attended over the two days. It didn't seem that busy, but it might have been. Still, there were a lot of people, enough to refute the idea that books are dead. Two events are upcoming, so if you are in the Los Angeles area (or not!), please come! The first is at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena on Thursday May 10, 7 pm (along with four other mystery writers) [more info] And we'll be at Diesel Books at Brentwood Thursday May 31, 7 pm for the "official" book launch party. Todd Not a classic genre mystery writer, no, I'm primarily a literary fiction writer, but have been heavily influenced by mysteries. Mine are more "philosophical mysteries" than murder mysteries. |
